Frequently Asked Questions
Question: What does a survey involve?
Answer: A site survey is the process of having a technician go out to the location requesting internet service to look at the situation from the physical site. The technician may need to walk the property, possibly get on a roof or check for other locations on the property that may have line of sight to our tower or towers.
Question: Does the site survey cost anything?
Answer: The site survey is free of charge and without any obligation to the potential client. It is done to gather more information and to be able to make a more precise decision on what is needed at the location requesting internet service.
Question: Does anyone need to be home at the time the survey is done?
Answer: As long as we have permission from the location owner and there aren’t any locked gates or aggressive dogs or similar, we can do the survey without anyone needing to be home at the time. We will not need to go inside the home or business to perform the site survey.
